Featured Research: The STABLECAMP Trial
Dr. Simon has been an investigator for the STABLECAMP Trial for over a year. This multicenter, prospective, randomized controlled trial utilizes a “Matriarch” platform design to evaluate the efficacy of various Cellular, Acellular, and Matrix-like Products (CAMPs) against the standard of care for chronic wounds.
Key Findings from the Interim Analysis October 2025 Publication: This data, published in the International Journal of Tissue Repair, demonstrates the clinical impact of advanced amniotic allografts:
- Diabetic Foot Ulcers (DFU): Treatment with AmnioCore Pro (DLACG) resulted in a 91.18% average reduction in wound area. Overall, all tested tissue products showed a trend toward superiority over standard care alone.
- Venous Leg Ulcers (VLU): AmnioCore (DLAG) achieved a 50% complete closure rate in the interim analysis, reaching statistical significance compared to standard treatments.
Published Evidence: Retrospective Analysis of AmnioCore
In addition to ongoing trials, Dr. Simon co-authored a multicenter retrospective study evaluating the real-world performance of AmnioCore Amniotic Membranes. This research focused on the healing of chronic Diabetic Foot Ulcers, Venous Leg Ulcers, and Pressure Ulcers.

Information for Prospective Participants
We are currently enrolling patients who meet the following general criteria:
- Chronic Wounds: Ulcers (DFU or VLU) present for 4 to 52 weeks.
- Wound Size: Ulcers measuring 1–5 cm² after professional debridement.
- Health Status: Adequate blood flow to the limb and manageable blood sugar levels (HbA1c < 12%).
